School Registration

Dear 3rd Grade Teachers,

It is time to prepare for another exciting spring gardening season. Again this year Bonnie Plant Farm will be giving a $1000 scholarship to one lucky third grader in each state for participating in our third grade cabbage program. The drawing will be done in each state by the agriculture department representative. We are asking you to give out these plants with instructions to your students to carry home and grow. We would like for you to pick a class winner in size and maturity for the state scholarship drawing. Submit the winner on our Web site with a good-quality picture, preferably digital. Submit only one winner per class. We recommend you contact your local newspaper to recognize the winner. The nominee form and picture must be received on or before September 10, 2010 online or mailed to the address below:

DEADLINE TO REGISTER YOUR SCHOOL FOR 2010 cabbage deliveries is MARCH 1, 2010 IN THE SOUTHERN STATES AND APRIL 15 IN THE NORTHERN STATES.

Register your school as early as possible, including all 3rd grade classes in one registration. Don't forget the special education class.

A Word from Our General Manager

Gardening is fun and rewarding. With help from an adult, you can be one of hundreds of thousands of 3rd grade students who participate in Bonnie Plant Farm's 3rd Grade Cabbage Program. We at Bonnie Plants want to share our love of gardening. By planting one of our oversized cabbage varieties, you can watch your cabbage plant grow bigger than a basketball! Help us by planting your cabbage and watch it grow, and grow and grow! Thanks for participating in our program.

Happy Growing!
