Bonnie Plant Farm presently employs 400 sales representatives. Each salesperson delivers vegetable, herb, and flower plants within a specified sales area to 30-50 retail accounts. These retail accounts are a combination of mass merchandisers such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe's, K-Mart, and independent farm supply stores and hardware stores. Each account is serviced from one to four times each week during the spring selling season. The selling season begins in January in the southern part of the U.S. and continues into June. In the northern territory, sales start in March and continue into July.
During the spring of 2008 we will service accounts in 49 U.S. states and in parts of Ontario, Canada. During November and December of each year, we interview prospective sales representatives for the upcoming spring season. Bonnie offers an attractive compensation package with commissions ranging from $25,000 to $75,000 depending upon sales volume.
