Q1. What causes large, lumpy swellings of my cabbage roots? The plants are stunted.
Q2. I have planted red and green cabbage in two rows. They both have a lot of leaves. The green cabbage has just started to form very small heads and the red cabbage has not formed anything but leaves. Is there something I need to do to make them form heads?

Q7. I planted cabbages in mid-April and they are big with several layers of outer leaves, but I do not see any heads forming. I planted broccoli at the same time and all of these plants have heads, some of which are big enough to harvest.
