FAQ's for Cabbage
What causes large, lumpy swellings of my cabbage roots? The plants are stunted.
I have planted red and green cabbage in two rows. They both have a lot of leaves. The green cabbage has just started to form very small heads and the red cabbage has not formed anything but leaves. Is there something I need to do to make them form heads?
What can I do to prevent my cabbage heads from splitting?
What causes cabbage to develop seed stalks rather than solid heads?
Why do butterflies fly around my cabbage plants?
Our cabbage is not producing a cabbage head. We are at ten weeks. Is there a chance that a cabbage head will develop? What is causing the head not to grow? We have not had any cold weather and we have watered and fertilized. Recently we have noticed some holes in the cabbage leaves. What’s happening?
I planted cabbages in mid-April and they are big with several layers of outer leaves, but I do not see any heads forming. I planted broccoli at the same time and all of these plants have heads, some of which are big enough to harvest.
